With over 1000 shows all over the globe, Papa CJ is widely recognised as the global face of cutting-edge Indian stand-up comedy. In 2008 he represented India in NBC's TV Show Last Comic Standing, where from amongst the thousands of global contestants he was recognised as one of the top ten comedians in the world. The Times of India recently called him the #1 stand-up comedian in India and in October 2011 he recorded a Showtime USA, Stand-up Comedy, TV Special with Russell Peters in Amsterdam. A performer with a conscience, he also runs a charity for underprivileged children in India that is funded by his comedy. Prior to his stand-up career, Papa CJ completed an MBA from the University of Oxford and worked as a management consultant in London. He has also worked as an executive coach and trained executives from over 50 blue chip companies all over the world.
